Ask a mentor

“Find what you love and be so dedicated that there is nothing that holds you back.”

Kirtan Tamrakar presents you a story of the shift in his career that he had gone through his journey. Holding a Master’s degree in accounting, he now works as a full-time photographer. Tamrakar, who began his journey in 2003, had to fight a constant battle between managing studies, assignments and earning money. Although he worked as an accountant for 11 years, he is happy that his vanquishing passion for photography took over his career. He is still grateful that his temporary phase of life as an accountant taught him to become a person with ethical values and integrity. With all the hardships he endured, his secret formula is that if the benefits outweigh the cost then you should step up and take the risk. Remember to listen to your gut, but only after having a Plan B if you were to fail.

Australian Universities are flexible with the GPA requirements for international applicants. Before choosing the course, you would prefer to enrol in, it is advisable to consult with an education consultant.

  • The 457 visa ban won’t have any direct impact on foreign students. Similarly, a student visa holder won’t be affected by the 457 visa changes. However, if students plan to apply for the 457 Visa, they will be in the same position as other people applying for the 457 Visa.

Students looking to get work visa will have to apply for the permanent visa directly, rather than risking a temporary working visa.
